The LPN Floater provides basic and skilled nursing care to patients under the direction of providers, including administering medications and monitoring patient conditions. They are also responsible for medical management duties such as chart preparation, supply maintenance, and ensuring a safe clinical environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing school with a valid Louisiana Board of Nursing license and a current AHA BLS/CPR certification. A minimum of two years of LPN experience and proficiency with electronic health records, preferably NextGen, is required.
