The role involves recruiting and enrolling patients into clinical trials and managing biological specimens according to safety protocols. Additionally, the technician maintains study data in research databases and provides clinical support in areas such as the operating room.
Candidates need a high school diploma with basic science courses or two years of college education in a relevant field. Experience as a laboratory technical assistant or equivalent clinical/research experience is required.
JOB SUMMARY Works under general supervision to provide routine technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of fundamental techniques and practices related to particular field of science.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, clinical staff, and research teams. This role requires flexibility, including occasional evening or weekend work to assist with research activities. The schedule includes rotating and overlapping shifts with another research technician.

Required Education Completion of two (2) years of college or specialized training in histology, medical technology or relevant field or High School Diploma including courses in basic sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc. or GED Equivalent Experience 1 year of experience as Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with Completion of two (2) years of college or 3 years of laboratory experience including two years as Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with High School diploma or GED equivalent
