Responsibilities

Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures in collaboration with the Health Care Supervisor and Assistant Vice President. Coordinate medical services with physicians, clinics, residential providers, and families. Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide first aid, emergency care, and triage for participants and staff. Document interventions and participate in Support Plan processes and case conferences. Conduct pre-admission reviews of medical histories and needs for prospective participants. Assist participants with personal care needs, including dining, toileting, and transfers. Train staff and participants in relevant medical and health-related program areas. Foster dignity, respect, and growth in participants, ensuring age- and culturally appropriate care.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred. 1-3 years of related experience. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required. CPR/First Aid required. Valid Class C or D standard driver’s license required. Skills & Knowledge: Strong adaptability, flexibility, and communication skills. Expertise in daily living assistance, health and wellness promotion, and first aid. Collaborative team player with the ability to handle diverse medical needs.
