Responsible for general clerical and reception duties in the Recovery Room. Provides direct patient care assistance under the supervision of a licensed professional nurse.
Requires a high school diploma and graduation from a certified CNA program with a valid California CNA certificate. Current CPR certification is required, and experience in acute care is preferred.
At NorthBay Health the Unit Clerk/Certified Nursing Assistant (UC/CNA) is responsible for general clerical and reception duties, and for the delivery of assigned patient care duties under the direction and supervision of a licensed, professional nurse. The UC/CNA, utilizing the Jean Watson Nursing Theory of Caring and the Relationship Based Care Model, provides assistance to patients in accordance with the functional and developmental needs of each patient.
