Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care within a behavioral health setting. Maintains a safe, clean environment and supports the nursing team in implementing patient care plans.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of a NYS Certified Nursing Attendant program or relevant clinical coursework. Candidates must pass the hospital's competency test and training program.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care, and performs a variety of procedures, exams and tests. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and promotes improved customer relations.
