The technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment to support veterinary surgical services. This includes managing sterile supply inventory and adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in sterile processing and a CRCST certification from HSPA or an equivalent organization. A strong understanding of sterility workflows and the ability to master detailed instrument protocols is required.

The Veterinary Sterile Processing Technician plays a vital role in supporting surgical services by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. This position is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, wrapping, and sterilizing surgical instruments, monitoring sterilization processes, maintaining sterilization equipment, and managing sterile supply inventory. The technician follows strict infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols to maintain a safe, organized, and sterile environment for veterinary surgical procedures.

1-2 years experience in sterile processing required Certification (CRCST) from the HSPA or equivalent organization Understands the importance and practice of sterility, good hygiene, and proper workflows. Ability to master detailed information including instruments and protocols.
