Requires a Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field and LCADC or CADC credentials. Candidates must have two years of post-certification experience with chronically mentally ill or MICA populations and a valid New Jersey driver's license.

What You'll Do as a Dual Diagnosis Disorder Specialist As a key member of our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team, you will provide essential services to clients experiencing co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive substance use assessments, education, and counseling Delivering crisis intervention and symptom evaluation Supporting clients in developing recovery skills and working toward a substance‑free lifestyle Participating in assertive community outreach to engage individuals in need Assisting with referrals to rehabilitation and treatment programs Collaborating with the team during treatment planning and case reviews Sharing responsibility for caseload management Using Motivational Interviewing (MI) to effectively engage and support clients Your work will help clients build confidence, access essential services, and move toward long‑term recovery.
