Lab Support Technician

Job Description

Saint Luke’s Plaza is looking for a Lab Support Technician to support our lab team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform blood draws and process specimens. Our lab is a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. Job Details: Shift: 1130-2200. 4x10 hr shifts per week with a rotating weekend day (Sunday, 1x each 6 weeks), include a holiday over the year. Collects patient samples in accordance with laboratory’s policy, procedures, and regulatory standards Documents receipt of patient samples in the LIS/EMR; processes and prepares samples for testing. May perform and report basic laboratory testing, as needed. Uses education and experience to identify and resolve patient circumstances that might interfere with accurate sample collection Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Job Details Full Time Evening (United States of America) The best place to get care.
