Job description

Description Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to support our dental hygienists in delivering high-quality preventive care to patients. This role plays an important part in creating a positive patient experience while helping promote oral health through teamwork, efficiency, and patient education. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for serving patients.

Pay & Schedule Competitive starting wages based on experience and qualifications Full-time, Monday–Friday In addition to competitive pay, full-time employees accrue up to 200 hours (5 weeks) of PTO per year. Employees also enjoy employer retirement match contributions and early Friday clinic closures, supporting a strong work-life balance.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Worker recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

One year of dental assisting experience Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or relevant work experience Certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification) One year of experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Bilingual in Spanish CPR certification for healthcare providers
