Candidates must have an active Medical Assistant credential or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment. A Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school is required, with clinical experience preferred.
Toledo Clinic's Nephrology Department is seeking a Medical Assistant to work on a contingent basis and provide both clinical and administrative duties in a fast paced office. The office hours are Monday-Thursday (8:00-4:30) and Friday (8:00-2:00). Qualified candidates will have an active MA credential (RMA/CMA/CCMA) or the ability to obtain such credential within 60 days of employment.
Assist providers with patient treatment, prepares patient for providers, and performs various clerical duties.
Works under the supervision of the Office Manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school.
• Clinical medical assisting experience.
