Perform technical procedures for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a neurosurgery context. Coordinate care with attending physicians and nursing staff while managing daily rounds and discharge summaries.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with specific licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State. Must hold current BLS certification and relevant board certifications (NCCPA or National Board Certification).
Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Participates in performance improvement, research, and educational activities.
