Resp Care Asst

Overview

• Performs diagnostic procedure including ECG, Pulse Oximetry, Rhythm Strips, and 24 hour Holter Monitor hook-up.
• Hook-ups and assists with Stress Testing and processing Respiratory Equipment as needed.
• Processes job related paperwork.
• Enters charges for procedures performed.
• Assist in timely and safe supply processing, and distribution of equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, inclusive of weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail as it pertains to patients, procedures, equipment and supplies

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• HS graduate or equivalent. Completion of EKG course preferred. Experience in performing EKG, 24 Holter and event monitoring desired. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Aptitude to work with mechanical devices.
