MRICU: The Medical/Respiratory ICU at St. Luke's Medical Center provides care for a high acuity, critically ill patient population. This opportunity provides considerable growth in practice for RN’s seeking to develop critical care skills. Support and education are provided to upscale nursing practice through various opportunities including the Critical Care Academy, preceptorship, hands on training and certification (ACLS, NIHSS, CRRT) and CBT training. Nurses develop core and continued skills necessary to care for critically ill patients. Candidates should have at least one year’s experience in adult inpatient acute care.
