Qualifications

Essential Job Functions: Oral Health Assessments: Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including for signs of oral diseases and abnormalities. Acts as an autonomous clinician responsible for comprehensive oral hygiene assessments. Teeth Cleaning: Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth. Preventative Treatment: Apply preventative treatments like fluoride applications and sealants. Patient Education: Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing and dietary recommendations.

• Take digital dental x-rays as needed.
• Record
• Keeping: Accurate and timely updates to patient records including documenting treatments and observations. Assist Dentist during exams and procedures as needed. Assist with patient transportation. Communicate effectively with all patients, family members, providers, faculty, and staff. Provide timely responses to patient inquiries; document conversations in the EMR. Requires travel up to 100% of the time. Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record, and car insurance.

Minimum Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygiene or Registered Dental Hygiene License Comfort with Independent Dental Hygiene practice
