The Phlebotomist is responsible for accurately performing venipuncture and capillary blood draws while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key duties include specimen labeling, transport, and documenting procedures within the electronic health record system.
A high school diploma and completion of a phlebotomy training program are required. Phlebotomy certification and 1-2 years of experience, particularly in a behavioral health setting, are preferred.
