Evaluates and treats patients with disabilities or injuries using physical and mechanical means based on physician prescriptions. Responsibilities include developing individualized plans of care, monitoring patient response, and documenting medical records.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a current New York State license or limited permit. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree need at least one year of acute rehabilitation experience, while those with a Master's degree require none.
Evaluates and treats patients with disabilities, injuries, and/or diseases using physical, chemical and mechanical means in accordance with the written and signed prescription and/or referral of a state licensed physician or authorized practitioner. Maintains medical records for each patient.

Minimum of one (1) year related experience in an acute rehabilitation setting with Bachelors Degree, required. No experience required with Masters Degree.
