Accountable for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of holistic nursing care to patients in an acute emergency setting. Responsible for developing individualized care plans and maintaining collaborative relationships with families and healthcare providers.
Requires a nursing degree, a valid RN license, and BLS certification. Candidates must have 2 years of recent ED experience and hold certifications including ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NRP, and TNCC or TCAR.
EDUCATION: Other: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing OR RN license evidences completion of a RN program CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support: NIHSS-National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider TNCC-Trauma Nursing Corp Course or TCAR-Trauma Care after Resuscitation TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 2 years recent ED experience. Pay Range is $89.55 to $104.14 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
