We provide a wide range of walk-in, psychiatric, substance abuse, and crisis services to adults and children.

About the Role

Are you a compassionate nurse who is passionate about making a difference beyond traditional healthcare settings? As an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Registered Nurse, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, community-based care to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness. You will help individuals manage their physical and behavioral health needs, support medication adherence, coordinate care across providers, and serve as a key member of a team dedicated to promoting recovery, independence, and improved quality of life. The ACT Nurse will be in charge of monitoring all medical/clinical aspects of the services delivered. Overall monitoring of all medical/clinical aspects of the services delivered. Identify appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practices therapies to be employed by staff in delivering services. Consult with primary healthcare providers/other providers on the clinical aspects of the clients being served and the implications for those clients' physical healthcare needs. Coordinate with medical staff of other providers, e.g., state and community inpatient facilities. Assist in identifying, planning, scheduling, and implementing services for the client. Assist in the development of transition plans when clients move in and out of services. Provide any written documentation as required. This will include treatment and goal plans and activity notes for the medical record (e.g., service notes, etc.) This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role. It is not intended to include every duty or responsibility that may be required of employees in this position. Compensation This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.

  • $72,665 - $93,309 Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience. Provide medication monitoring and documentation. Deliver psychopharmacologic and medical services within your scope of practice. Collaborate with ACT team members to monitor clinical status and response to treatment. Conduct crisis assessments, symptom management, and intervention planning. Provide individual counseling, substance abuse treatment, and psycho-educational support. Assist in creating transition plans when clients move in and out of services. QualificationsQualifications Nursing Degree from an accredited school Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina with no Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation Two years experience working with Behavioral Health Clients preferred.
