More about our team

• Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit.
• Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers.
• Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
• Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness.
• This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Crisis Intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

· Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

· ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

· One year of experience preferred
