Pharmacist - Staff

• Prepares medication, upon receipt of prescription, for use within the hospital.
• Enters/verifies medication orders into pharmacy computer to establish patient drug regimes.
• Purchases pharmaceuticals and stocks pharmacy and ancillary departments with medications based on par levels.
• Communicates drug information with Nursing staff.
• Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Checks all medications dispensed from the pharmacy.
• Communicates with nursing and physicians to compliment patient care.
