Description INTEGRATED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS-We are the largest multi-specialty urology focused practice in the country. Our doctors and staff are committed to providing the highest level of quality medical services available. This position is in our office located at: 2 Medical Park Drive, Suite 10 West Nyack NY 10994

This position works 20-30 hour/week Monday-Thursday 7

30AM -5:00PM. Will be scheduled for different days of the week to fit the office schedule

No weekends, no evenings, no holidays

General summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. The RN administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients in the clinic setting.

Requirements: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assesses patient problems both in the office and on the phone, to determine disposition of patient.
  • Facilitates patient care and documents all communication into the electronic medical record (EMR) .
  • Communicates physician treatment plan including lab/imaging results to patients and documents appropriately within the EMR.
  • Administers medications to patients and monitors patients for reactions or side effects per written provider orders.
  • Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Prepares rooms, steriles instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensures that stock of supplies is maintained.
  • Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Instructs individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education and disease prevention.
  • Develops health improvement programs.

    Education requirements

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    1-2 years previous clinical experience, urology experience preferred.
