Perform nuclear medicine imaging exams and manage equipment maintenance under minimal supervision. Coordinate patient preparation, execute high-quality examinations, and ensure all regulatory and safety protocols are followed.
Requires graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine technology school and certifications from ARRT or NMTCB, as well as Texas Medical Board certification. A bachelor's degree and two years of experience are preferred.
JOB SUMMARY Works under minimal supervision with the physicians to perform Nuclear Medicine imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Graduate from an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology. and Licenses and Certifications (CNMT) CERT NUCLEAR MED TECH in either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and (CMRT) CERT MED RADIOLOGIC TECH Must be certified by the Texas Department of Health and (TMB) Texas Medical Board and (CPRAED) CPR AED Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Experience 2 years experience in nuclear medicine preferred; clinical training at UTSW may be considered as experience
