The technologist will perform high-quality CT exams using established protocols, which includes administering contrast and operating sophisticated imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, and document image data precisely. Responsibilities also involve ensuring accurate coding and archiving of studies, administering various types of contrast following physician orders, and using independent judgment to safely adjust protocols and apply ionizing radiation.
Candidates must be graduates of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited CNMT program, and must obtain the relevant ARRT or CNMT registry within specified timeframes post-hire. Required certifications include current ARRT certification (or eligibility) or CNMT certification, along with current CPR or BLS certification meeting AHA standards within 30 days of hire.
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program. ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire date. CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired. CNMT graduates must obtain CNMT registry within 6 months of hire date.
