As an Awake Overnight Counselor, the role involves providing direct support to individuals with Brain Injury or behavioral conditions in a residential setting, focusing on building independence skills and improving quality of life. Duties include administering medication, implementing treatment plans, and assisting with daily living activities, alongside nightly cleaning and filing.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old with a valid US driver's license for a minimum of six months, and must pass background checks including CORI, references, fingerprinting, and driving record. Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral conditions, or brain injury is strongly preferred, as is strong time management and writing ability.
Schedule: Sun-Wed 11pm-9am
$18.75 / hour
As an Awake Overnight Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with Brain Injury or behavioral conditions in either a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by either building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.
Awake Overnight Counselors have a range of duties including have a range of duties include administrating medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting people with activities of daily living.
Additional responsibilities include nightly cleaning and filing.
