The Residential Counselor will provide direct support to individuals with psychiatric conditions in a residential setting, focusing on fostering independence and improving quality of life. Duties include administering medication, assisting with daily living activities, and implementing recovery-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with the Clinical Program Director.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though an Associate's degree in a human services discipline is preferred. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid US driver's license for one year, and pass various background checks, including becoming CPR/First Aid certified quickly and MAP certified within 150 days.

$22.00 / hour
Sign on Bonus: $2000; $666 upon completion of 30 days, $666 upon completion of 6 months, $668 upon completion of 9 months
As an ACCS Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with psychiatric conditions in a residential Group Living Environment designed to foster independence. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by either building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.
In this role you will have a range of duties include administrating medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) and assisting people with activities of daily living, such as household chores and cooking. You will also work alongside the Clinical Program Director to implement treatment plans which are recovery-oriented, person-centered, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, culturally competent and strengths-based approaches.
