Caregivers provide companionship to residents by assisting with various needs, such as playing games and watching TV, and supporting them with Activities of Daily Living like showering and dressing. Responsibilities also include escorting residents to appointments, assisting with light housekeeping, and observing and reporting changes in their physical or cognitive condition.
Candidates should be caring and dependable individuals passionate about senior adults, with a CNA certification being preferred but not required. Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively to communicate with residents, families, and staff, and must be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
