Work alongside 2 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians in a collaborative, team-based environment. Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite and innovative programs offer exciting opportunities to enhance patient access and treatment options for both acute and chronic GI conditions, including those affecting the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, liver, pancreas, and colon. About the Role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, working both independently and in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals. You will provide healthcare to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. You may care for patients ranging in age from 18 to elderly. This position requires a high level of collaboration to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. Education/Training/Experience: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution. Previous gastroenterology experience/knowledge required. Licensure/Certifications required: Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP). Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state. Current certification in CPR. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
