The role involves executing high-quality radiologic exams by accurately positioning patients and selecting technical factors to aid medical diagnoses. Responsibilities also include administering contrast media safely, monitoring patient well-being, ensuring data integrity by verifying images before submission to PACS, and maintaining equipment functionality.
Minimum requirements include obtaining a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, holding one or more specific credentials like Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer, and possessing a Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist license. Education requires either a High School diploma with 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of relevant job-specific experience.
