The role involves capturing high-quality diagnostic mammography images by expertly positioning patients and tailoring technical parameters for early detection. Responsibilities also include empowering patients through education and championing diagnostic integrity by evaluating image quality before transferring data to the digital record.
Candidates must possess the Radiologic Technologist credential from ARRT and the Florida Radiologic Technology credential prior to hire or transfer. Education requires either a High School diploma equivalency with two years of experience, an Associate's or Technical degree, or four years of applicable job-specific experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Capture high-quality diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and tailoring technical parameters to ensure maximum clinical clarity for early detection. Empower patients through education by clearly explaining procedures and the critical role of regular screenings in long-term breast health. Champion diagnostic integrity by evaluating image quality for contrast and definition before ensuring a seamless, accurate transfer to the digital record (PACS). Maintain a safe and high-functioning clinical space by adhering to rigorous radiation safety standards and proactively ensuring all imaging equipment is operating at peak performance.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
