The role involves providing direct nursing care according to established organizational policies and procedures, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Responsibilities also include monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
Minimum requirements include obtaining Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months and BLS certification within 1 month of hire, along with holding a current Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Florida Board of Nursing prior to the start date. Preferred qualifications include three years of experience in ED, ICU, or flight nursing, or prior Paramedic experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead and execute individualized patient care plans by continuously monitoring patient conditions and adjusting clinical interventions to ensure optimal recovery and high-quality outcomes. Serve as the primary care coordinator by uniting multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, therapists, and specialists—to deliver seamlessly integrated, holistic patient care. Advocate for patient safety and clinical accuracy by precisely interpreting, noting, and carrying out physician and nursing orders in accordance with the highest healthcare standards. Champion smooth, safe patient transitions by assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team, ensuring patients and families are fully prepared for care at home.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date require. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
