The optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, establish long-term patient relationships through care and education, and advise patients on options for ametropias, systemic/ocular diseases, and visual needs. They must also generate patient loyalty and clearly communicate lens recommendations to support staff.
Candidates must possess a Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution and have successfully passed all state optometric board exams. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks like moving about the office and utilizing necessary equipment.
