The primary duties involve producing high-quality cross-sectional images by correctly positioning patients and selecting appropriate settings, alongside preparing and educating patients before exams. Responsibilities also include managing images in PACS for timely provider access and adhering to radiation safety guidelines while maintaining equipment and operational areas.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma equivalency with two years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or four years of applicable job-specific experience. Required certifications include BLS within one month of hire, and obtaining specific credentials like ARRT MR boards within one year, depending on the initial credential held.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Produce high-quality cross-sectional images by properly positioning patients and selecting correct settings. Prepare and educate patients before exams to ensure comfort and understanding. Upload and manage images in PACS so providers have timely access to results. Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain equipment and procedure areas for safe, efficient operations.
