The role involves taking clear, accurate diagnostic images by correctly positioning patients and utilizing appropriate settings, while also safely administering contrast or medications and monitoring patients during exams. Responsibilities also include adhering to radiation safety rules, promptly uploading images, and maintaining equipment and work areas for smooth operations.
Candidates must obtain BLS Provider certification within one month of hire, along with one of several advanced credentials such as Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer, and must hold a Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist license. Education requires either a High School diploma equivalency with two years of experience, an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or four years of applicable job-specific experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Take clear, accurate diagnostic images by positioning patients correctly and using proper settings. Safely give contrast or medications and monitor patients during exams. Follow radiation safety rules to protect patients and staff. High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
