The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing clinical environments to ensure patient comfort and safety, capturing vital signs, and supporting complex clinical procedures alongside physicians and nurses. They also coordinate essential clinic operations, including supply management and digital record maintenance, while facilitating clear communication between patients and the care team.
Candidates must obtain a BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire. A minimum requirement is either a High School diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
