This position is directly responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized basic nursing care, reporting to the Nursing Unit Director and taking direction from the Registered Nurse or LVN. The Nurse Assistant supports the hospital mission and vision by utilizing knowledge of the patient's age, developmental status, spiritual, and cultural diversity in providing care.
Candidates must have completed a Nursing Assistant Course and possess current Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) certification, along with a current BCLS Card (AHA). Completion of high school or equivalent is preferred, and six months of acute hospital experience is preferred.
The PBX Operator is responsible for answering and directing calls to and from and within the Medical Center. The PBX Operator is also responsible for monitoring of alarms and activating of the appropriate response to emergencies.
