Evaluates and treats physical therapy patients under physician orders in both outpatient and acute settings. Develops treatment plans for all patients assigned to their caseload and maintains appropriate documentation.
Candidates must be graduates of a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapist education program and have passed the state examination for Physical Therapists. Licensure in Iowa or eligibility for licensure in Iowa is required, and entry-level/new graduates are acceptable.

Education: Graduate of a Physical Therapist education program approved by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), a successor organization of CAPTE, or an education program outside the United States determined to be substantially equivalent to physical therapist entry-level education in the United States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. Passed an examination for Physical Therapists approved by the state in which physical therapy services are provided.
