The Certified Surgical Technologist facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures and prepares the operating suite with necessary sterile instruments and supplies. They also assist with patient positioning and maintain instrument organization during surgeries.
Candidates must have a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire and one of the required surgical tech credentials. A high school diploma with 2 years of experience or an associate degree is also required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Prepare the surgical suite with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all sterile instruments and supplies are ready to support a seamless and safe procedure. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing the correct instruments and supplies with speed and precision, allowing the surgeon to maintain focus on the patient. Protect patient safety by maintaining an impeccably organized sterile field and conducting rigorous instrument counts to ensure zero retained items. Support the patient’s journey through the OR by assisting with safe positioning and draping, prioritizing both clinical accuracy and patient dignity.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
