Requires a valid Wisconsin license as a Clinical Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist. A Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work is required, and BLS certification is preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Assess patient needs and develop personalized, evidence-based therapy treatment plans to guide individuals and groups toward recovery and long-term wellness. Administer a diverse range of individual and group therapeutic interventions, focusing on evidence-based practices to support patient mental, emotional, and behavioral health. Collaborate with patients, their families, physicians, and external community providers to create a holistic, active, and seamless care experience from admission through successful discharge. Document patient care journeys and clinical observations with thoroughness and confidentiality to ensure accurate, legally compliant records that support the multidisciplinary care team.
One or more of the following required: Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Supervisor credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or equivalent required. Active license in the state of WI required: LPC-IT, LPC, APSW, LCSW or equivalent. Acute care behavioral health experience preferred within a PHP or IOP.
