The clinician will provide individual, family, and group substance use counseling using a trauma-informed approach while coordinating care with various stakeholders. Responsibilities also include developing, implementing, and reviewing comprehensive clinical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record for the assigned caseload.
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related health field is required, along with proficiency in computer applications and EMR systems. Licensure with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners is preferred, along with two to three years of experience in behavioral health or substance abuse.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or health-related field required. Licensed with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LAC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, LAAC, LIAC) preferred. Two to three years of experience working in behavioral health or substance abuse field preferred. Must be proficient in computer applications and electronic medical record systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software. Fingerprint Clearance Card upon hire. Current First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Negative TB Test result within the last 12 months. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their loved ones and professionals in both written and oral format. Ability to make calm sound decisions in emergency situations. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Strong assessment skills, time management skills, and clinical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working knowledge of ASAM. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Experience in working with diverse population and socioeconomic backgrounds. Experience with working with Native American population preferred. Working knowledge of twelve step programs of recovery and other models of self-help options in the community.
