The Registered Nurse identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, and subsequently plans and delegates care based on those identified patient needs. The RN is accountable for the outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift, evaluating patient response and progress toward expected outcomes.
Applicants must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure; prior experience is preferred, but new graduates are accepted. Required certifications include BLS before the conclusion of orientation, and ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire.

The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.
