The Advanced Practice Clinician supports the mission by evaluating organ donor referrals, medically managing donors, allocating donated organs, and completing moderately complex procedures on brain dead donors. Essential functions include performing bedside testing, managing donor hemodynamics during recovery, and providing clinical oversight to maximize donation during referral and recovery processes.
A minimum requirement is an Associate degree or higher in nursing, respiratory therapy, paramedic medicine, related biological science, or a medical degree, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Preferred experience includes critical care or organ donor management, and candidates must be able to fulfill on-call obligations, potentially working up to 24 consecutive hours.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Education: Associate degree or higher in nursing, respiratory therapy, paramedic medicine, related biological science (including human donation science), or medical school degree (including foreign degree programs) required. Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing, respiratory therapy, or related biological science preferred.
