The technologist is responsible for providing care within the CT department, requiring proficiency with major Radiology equipment, hardware, and software. This role also mandates the ability to work effectively in both CT and Diagnostic Radiology settings.
Candidates must have graduated from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and maintain all required state and federal licenses, including American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT and a New York State license. Essential requirements include knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and maintaining Basic Life Support (CPR) credentials.
