The Staff Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, develops treatment plans, and communicates progress with families, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining thorough medical record documentation. Responsibilities also include conducting staff in-services, supervising assistants, and participating in various patient care and discharge planning meetings.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, though Master's or Doctorate degrees are preferred, and must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state, meeting all continuing education requirements. Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Casamba and Point Click Care, is required, along with the ability to handle significant physical demands.
