The primary role involves operating radiology equipment to create clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by physicians, which includes positioning patients and adjusting equipment according to established procedures. Essential functions also cover instructing patients, following safety standards, selecting radiation exposure settings, processing film, and maintaining examination rooms and supplies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiology program, along with a minimum of one year of experience in Radiology. Required certifications include National registration with ARRT (R - Radiology), Washington State registration in Radiology, and CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
1.0 FTE Monday through Friday 8-5 Location: Monday through Friday 8-7, Saturday and Sunday 8-5
1. Maintain accurate records as directed. 2. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. 3. Work as a team member within the radiology department and all other departments. 4. Document work processes as required. 5. Perform other duties as assigned

Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. 2.
Must be able to communicate clearly to patients and coworkers in person and over the telephone. 3.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens, and including visual examination of patients.
The position is mostly sitting, standing and walking throughout the day with occasional bending and reaching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing less than 10 pounds including assisting patients and up to 30 pounds in surgeries when required. Involves potential exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common in a clinical environment.

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement [CBA]. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's directly applicable experience and internal equity within the paygrade. The current wage range is $31.35 - $49.01
You may be eligible for additional pay to include weekend premium, shift premium and other premiums outlined in the CBA. Compensation and benefit eligibility are based off of FTE, assigned job classification/description, and complies with current union agreements.
