What is a Medical Assistant Registered?

A Medical Assistant is a Healthcare Professional who supports the provider by performing both clinical and non clinical tasks. This allows the appointment to move more efficiently. A Medical Assistant Registered will typically room patients, take vitals, and go over health history. Medical Assistants work closely with providers to ensure quality patient care; and often act as a critical link between the provider and the patient.

What Qualifications do I need as a Medical Assistant Registered?

The Doctors Clinic will provide on the job training to our employees hired as a Medical Assistant Registered. Anyone who has a Certified Nurse Assistant license, and experience doing manual vitals, is qualified and encouraged to apply. The Doctors Clinic will submit and endorse the applicants needed with the state to become a Medical Assistant Registered.
