The Mental Health RN provides compassionate, evidence-based care to Veterans with various psychiatric diagnoses in an outpatient setting. Key duties include performing patient assessments, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and applying de-escalation strategies.
Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted RN license and BLS certification with at least three years of mental health experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, though an Associate degree is accepted.
