Staff Nurses apply nursing theory to patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation, while collaboratively coordinating the continuum of care across settings. Duties also include developing and implementing patient care plans, documenting interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning.
Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or higher in Nursing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, general computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, and a current Iowa nursing license by the date of hire. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is highly desired.
