The technologist performs diagnostic CT exams following established procedures, which includes verifying patient identity, obtaining medical history, explaining procedures, and acquiring appropriate images. They also review images, document observations, respond to medical emergencies, and provide post-care instructions to patients.
Candidates are required to have or complete AHA BLS training by the end of orientation and must possess one or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably with an ARRT registration in Radiology or advanced certification in CT.
