The Awake Overnight Counselor provides direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, focusing on building independence skills and improving quality of life. Duties include administering medication, implementing treatment plans, assisting with daily living activities, and performing nightly cleaning and filing.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old, and hold a valid US driver's license for at least six months. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injury is strongly preferred, along with strong time management and writing skills.
Schedule: Thu-Sat,11pm-9am
$20.00 / hour
As an Awake Overnight Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by either building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.
Awake Overnight Counselors have a range of duties including have a range of duties include administrating medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting people with activities of daily living.
Additional responsibilities include nightly cleaning and filing.
