The primary responsibility involves the sign-out of hematopathology cases, supplemented by participation in general surgical pathology sign-out as part of a subspecialty team. The role also includes performing frozen sections, participating in ROSE coverage, and collaborating with clinical teams during tumor boards.
Candidates must possess a Medical Degree (MD or DO) and be AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, with fellowship training in Hematopathology strongly preferred. Eligibility for medical licenses in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, along with excellent diagnostic and interpersonal skills, is mandatory.
